Recently, golf has developed faster. However, according to Forbes, 85% of countries in the world have golf courses (208 out of 245 countries).

Even so, Tiger Woods still overcame invisible barriers, including prejudice, to become one of the greatest sports athletes in history.

One of the important factors that help Tiger become popular, besides talent, is his background. He is the son of an African-American military veteran. His mother is of Asian and Dutch descent.

In less than a year of playing professionally, Tiger Woods rose to number 1 in the world. During the period 1999-2004, he held the number 1 position for 264 consecutive weeks. Then, between 2005 and 2010, he was number 1 for 281 consecutive weeks.

He is the king on the golf course, becoming the king of making money in the sports world.

The emotional troubles that were exposed at the end of 2009 dragged Tiger’s career down miserably. Many people who once idolized Woods turned to curse him.

The marital crisis, stemming from a famous love scandal, caused Tiger to collapse at times.

To find balance, Tiger turned to Buddhism. His mother had 50% Thai blood in her, so Woods was soon influenced by Buddhism. He always admitted that he was a religious person.
