Savannah James, wife of LA Lakers power forward LeBron James, recently shared an Instagram story, hinting a collaboration with April McDaniels. Along with being Savannah’s friend, April is the founder of the creative agency Crown + Conquer.
Is Savannah James on her way to her podcast debut?
Savannah, who is quite active on social media along with her husband LeBron James, shared a short Instagram video through her story. Her post, where she was seen having a good time with April McDaniels and both laughing at something, hints at a possible podcast debut.

If the collaboration works out, the LeBron James fan could see the star’s wife featured in a podcast. It would not be Savannah’s first linkup with April, though, as they have collaborated in the past during their entrepreneurial journey.

Savannah James has consciously maintained a preference for staying away from the limelight for a significant portion of her husband’s illustrious 20-year basketball career.
In an interview with The Cut for its May-June cover story last year, the wife of NBA star LeBron James revealed her deliberate choice to prioritize her role as a mother, taking care of her boys and supporting her husband. She said:
“That time, to be honest, was spent pouring into my boys. I just really wanted to enjoy being a mom and supporting my husband. I wasn’t super comfortable with putting myself out like that.”
Despite the ubiquitous allure of reality television and influencer status that often accompanies the partners of professional athletes, Savannah opted for a life of privacy and selflessly nurtured her family away from the public eye.
She candidly expressed her hesitance in putting herself out for public consumption. Adding further to her narrative, she looked aware of the fact that people want to know everything about the WAGs of the NBA players, and she does not have an issue with people looking for a glimpse of her and LeBron James.
Savannah added:
“Sometimes I’m like, ‘Oh, my gosh, a little bit much.’ But I get it, and I’m cool with it. I understood that maybe this is just where I’m at right now, and this is my time to, I don’t know, be seen.”
Despite her inclination to shun the limelight, Savannah shared her newfound willingness to embrace new experiences in the public eye, signifying her personal growth and liberation.
She has embarked on a four-year transformative journey aimed at self-improvement and personal empowerment, delving into therapy, wellness practices and spiritual awakening.
Talking about self-care and decision-making, Mrs. LeBron James said:
“I’ve gone to therapy. Anything just to find out more about myself and the way that my brain functions in certain situations. I am a woman getting to a certain age, and I need to be aging like the most amazing 19-whatever vintage wine on the market.”
