Kevin Durant is soon to make the NBA’s TOP10 all-time scoring list.

Kevin Durant recorded 31 points and nine assists as the Phoenix Suns notched a 120-107 victory over the visiting Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday night.

Playing in his 1,000th career game, Durant moved into 11th place on the NBA’s all-time scoring with 27,331 career points. Durant passed Hall of Famer Elvin Hayes, who had 27,313 points from 1968-84.
Durant entered the game needing 14 points to pass Hayes, and he got all 14 in the first quarter on 6/6 shooting, including a 3-pointer and a free throw. He passed Hakeem Olajuwon for 12th on the career scoring list on Oct. 26, 2023.
Next up? Moses Malone is 10th with 27,409 points.
The contest was part of the NBA in-season tournament. Phoenix improved to 2-1 in West Group A while the Trail Blazers finish 1-3.
The Suns connected on 56.6% of their shots, including 7/17 from 3-point range, while winning their fourth straight game.
