Competing fiercely on the racetrack, in real life Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen have many things in common such as being in a penthouse, having an epic car collection, traveling by private plane and sharing a love for animals.

British racing driver Lewis Hamilton has a luxury apartment in the Fontvieille district, Monaco and mainly lives here. However, Hamilton plans to return to London, England to live permanently in an 18 million pound six-bedroom villa. In 2019, the star born in 1985 spent 32 million pounds to buy an apartment in New York in a housing project that American football star – Tom Brady – and his supermodel wife Gisele Bundchen co-participated in. The 600 square meter penthouse has a large outdoor area, facing the Hudson River, with a swimming pool, gym, squash court, library and wine cellar. In addition, the seven-time world champion racer also has a large villa in Colorado, where he often rests during the winter months.

Max Verstappen has a love for British cars, especially Aston Martin cars. The racer born in 1997 is ordering Aston Martin’s two million pound Valkyrie and receiving the car next year. The Belgian and Dutch star once drove a DB11 (£150,000) and a DBS Superleggera (£225,000). In addition, Verstappen occasionally “changes the mood” with a Ferrari Monza worth 1.5 million pounds and a Renault R.S. 01 300,000 pounds.

Pet

Hamilton and Verstappen both love animals. The reigning champion raises an English bulldog named Roscoe and regularly shares photos of his pet dog on his personal page. Roscoe many times flew separately with his owner and appeared at Hamilton’s races. The British racer also raises another bulldog named Coco. However, Coco died in Hamilton’s arms last year from a heart attack.

Verstappen also experienced the pain of losing a pet when his 11-year-old dog Spyke died. The 1997 racer also has two cats and often takes them on trips with him. Verstappen also grew up with a cockatoo.

Sport

As two racing stars, both Hamilton and Verstappen love thrilling sports. A few years ago, Hamilton participated in shooting rifles at a shooting range, then learned to skydive. The 36-year-old racer posted a photo of his experience flying in the sky after jumping from the plane.
