Yet instead of heading straight from Tokyo to Vegas, the pop superstar made a pit stop to head to her LA home on Saturday night, before she embarks on an hour-long flight to Sin City later today.Chiefs and 49ers stars would therefore have been in lockdown through the later hours of Saturday night, meaning Swift would not have been able to see her man upon arrival in Vegas – where she would have touched down at around 4pm.
That would have given her just a handful of hours to get through customs and spend time with Travis before the curfew kicked in.As a result, heading to her property in California and spending the night there before jetting to Nevada on Sunday was likely the more appealing option.
Customs would not have been an issue given guidelines would have allowed her to fly to Vegas from Tokyo directly, while the dilemma concerning private-jet parking spaces is unlikely to have affected one of the biggest stars on the planet.
Swift is expected to complete the short trip over from Burbank airport hours before Kelce and Kansas City bid to win a second straight Super Bowl.
That will give her enough time to meet up with the likes of Jason and Kylie Kelce – who were captured by DailymailSwift made the dash back from Japan following a busy week that took in four sold out performances at the Tokyo Dome – the final one on Saturday night.
The pop billionaire is also fresh from winning a record-breaking fourth ‘album of the year’ Grammy – handed out at a glitzy ceremony in LA while Kelce, 34, was arriving in Las Vegas ahead of the Super Bowl.
Swift and Kelce’s families will be sharing a Super Bowl suite this Sunday, a new report has confirmed, after the Kansas City star shelled out ‘well over $1million’ to reserve the seats.
