Helen Flanagan has risked backlash again as she showed off her stunning new look in a plunging dress after admitting to being ‘exhausted’ on Mother’s Day. The former Coronation Street star took to Instagram to parade her latest glamourous outfit.

The actress, who played Rosie Webster in the ITV soap, could be seen sporting the embellished mini dress which boasted a cut-out panel to reveal her toned tummy, a halter neck which drew attention to her latest confidence-boosting boob job, and laced sleeves.

Helen, 32, could be seen posing with a glass of fizz in hand as she looked away from the camera, giving fans a better look at her new longer locks as he blonde tresses flowed in curls past her shoulders in a half-up half-down style. “Northern girl,” she captioned the gorgeous snap which she shared to her one million Instagram followers

But as the compliments came flooding in, some were unimpressed with Helen’s display with one asking: “Is there really any need.” However, it is not the first time the mum-of-three has faced some criticisms over her outfits and her loyal followers were again there to defend her.

@kay_beer_88 said: “The comments on here. What is wrong with people!!! Helen you look amazing. The girls are looking incredible, I wish mine looked like that. You seem to get hotter everyday, can you stop showing us other mums up please.” @jaydenemay13 wrote: “You look amazing especially your boobs. Loved when I got mine, they changed my life and I felt so much more confident wearing certain clothes xx you do you and don’t care about all the s**t comments.”

@rosiestefana replied: “She is proud of her body. If you’ve got it, flaunt it!” @bubseyboo commented: “Love your dress you look amazing.” @yorke_muscle posted: “Gorgeous girl.” @etienneayigah shared: “Absolutely stunning.” @clarecampbell300 typed: “Got it flaunt it hun.” @abi_fox1991 added: “Looking fab girl!”

It comes weeks after Helen hit back after being branded ‘unclassy’. She was flooded with support from her fans and celeb pals, including Michelle Keegan, after speaking out on the ‘vile’ response to one of her Instagram posts in which she appeared on the platform in a plunging outfit.

The Bury-born star could be seen in the Instagram reel slipping into a figure-hugging silk skirt while modelling for the camera. She then swapped her black sports bra for a matching red risqué corset that featured a plunging neckline.

Fans had already jumped to her defence after seeing the flack Helen was getting over her post as some weren’t impressed by the extravagant display. But after taking some time to deal with the backlash, Helen has spoken out. The former soap star took to Instagram with a quote which read: “Empowered women Empower women,” as well as sharing a still from her video which showed her looking sensational in her all-red outfit with some of the negative reactions attached.

“So I shared a fashion reel a few days ago and I was a bit taken back from the not so nice comments I got on the post,” she began to type. “I was more shocked that the majority of them were from women. I’m a girls girl and very much for other women and I always have another womens back. I don’t believe women should comment negatively about other women.

“I enjoy seeing women feeling glamorous and feeling empowered and dressing how they want to dress. Sometimes I see outfits that I wouldn’t wear as maybe they are too revealing for me but I just think good on the girl that has the confidence to wear what she wants to wear. I had some comments from other women about being ‘tacky’ or ‘unclassy’ well to me being a woman and speaking so badly of another womens appearance is ‘tacky and unclassy’.”

She went on to share how some of the comments also mentioned her daughters, Matilda and Delilah, who she shares with footballer Scott Sinclair as well as son, Charlie. “I never speak badly about how another women looks as it’s just vile. I had comments about not being a good role model to my daughters.

“I will bring up my daughters to be kind, beautiful women that support other women with good morals and girl code. Or you can just scroll past…. On social media you don’t like something you don’t have to comment. I love my account I feel like I really connect with other women and mothers and yeah basically I support other women, I don’t drag them down. As women we need each other.”

She then rounded off her post by sharing her thanks to fellow mum and former Made in Chelsea star Ashely James who helped support Helen amid the backlash. “Thankyou @ashleylouisejames for helping me with this and listening to my voice notes,” Helen added.
