Former President Donald Trump was shot at a Pennsylvania rally on Saturday. The bullet graced Trump’s right ear before the security took the Republican presidential candidate to safety. The shocking incident rattled the US presidential campaign and sparked criticism of political violence. The news of Donald Trump’s assassination attempt caused quite a stir on social media.

Anna Horford, the sister of Boston Celtics center Al Horford, also raised her doubts about the incident. She took to X (formerly Twitter) to suggest that it might have been staged by Trump’s team to “glorify” the former President.

“I doubt the secret service would allow him to do this in plain sight for as long as he did if there was a real shooter in the crowd… I wouldn’t put it past the Tr*mp team to have staged this. His base is already using these images to glorify him”, Anna wrote in her post.

Celtics Rookie Anton Watson Draws Inspiration from Al Horford

The Celtics preferred keeping things steady rather than making significant changes this summer. They’re sticking with the championship-winning squad that recently claimed the Larry O’Brien Trophy and will unveil Banner 18 on Opening Night. However, the second-round selection, Anton Watson, is now looking forward to embracing the Celtics’ rich culture.

Despite being a rookie forward, Watson has the difficult task of living up to Al Horford’s legacy. He plans to take notes from seasoned players to improve his game and make more three-pointers in the future season.

During his first media interaction, Watson said, “Shooting is obviously a big piece, kind of like that Al Horford role. He’s a great shooter. I think learning from him is going to be huge for me and actually all the veterans on this team.”

Horford’s presence is expected to be especially valuable for Watson, who will likely compete for playing time at the forward position.
