Kendall Jenner was sued by Italian luxury fashion brand Liu Jo, demanding compensation of 1.8 million USD with accusations that the supermodel did not conduct a photo shoot to promote the product according to signed contract.

Kendall Jenner, 25 years old, agreed to participate in two promotional campaigns for fashion brand Liu Jo. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the schedule was disturbed and the original plans could not be implemented as planned. She only did one photo session.

According to TMZ, Liu Jo’s side sued for compensation, alleging that Kendall Jenner and her crew rejected all of Liu Jo’s goodwill compromise offers. Accordingly, in 2019, Kendall Jenner agreed to be Liu Jo’s advertising model for two photo shoots. In February 2020, Kendall Jenner was paid 1.3 million USD in compensation.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic starting to break out in early 2020, Liu Jo’s plan to carry out the Fall – Winter 2020 fashion campaign failed. In the lawsuit, Liu Jo claimed to have asked Kendal Jenner to reschedule the photo shoot to fall 2020, but the supermodel refused all good-faith offers. Liu Jo then asked to reschedule the photo series to October 2020 but was also told that it was not possible.

Liu Jo announced that Kendall Jenner had no intention of completing her contract, so she sued with the goal of recovering 1.3 million USD in remuneration paid and compensation costs with a total amount of 1.8 million USD.
