According to the Yard Data, Taylor Swift has emerged as the biggest celebrity carbon dioxide polluter of 2023. The singer has taken more than 170 flights since January 2022 and spent 15.9 days and 22,923 minutes in the air. She is responsible for emitting around 8,293.54 tonnes of carbon dioxide into the air this year. The figures have spiraled after her Eras Tour.

Celebrities like Kim Kardashian, Steven Spielberg, Oprah Winfrey, Mark Wahlberg, and rapper Travis Scott are also on the list.

Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour Concert Creates Seismic Waves At Seattle

Taylor Swift’s concerts are no less than a festival. Her followers and fans never miss out on celebrating the sensational singer. Her fans ended up creating seismic waves equivalent to a 2.3 magnitude earthquake, in Seattle during her Eras Tour concert.

A Geology professor from Western Washington University observed the natural phenomena which started from the Lumen Field where Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour concert was being held. Jackie Caplan-Auerbach pointed out during an interview with CNN-

“The primary difference is the duration of shaking. Cheering after a touchdown lasts for a couple of seconds, but eventually, it dies down. It’s much more random than a concert. For Taylor Swift, I collected about 10 hours of data where rhythm controlled the behavior. The music, the speakers, the beat. All that energy can drive into the ground and shake it.”
