In an interview with WSJ magazine, Bella said she struggled a lot with unstable mental health.
Currently, the model is learning meditation and practicing the habit of writing a diary to keep her spirit at ease. “I write 3 diary pages and practice meditation to relax my mind every morning. On the way to work, I also turn on meditation music in the car so that everyone and I can enjoy a peaceful moment and reflect on gratitude for everything,” she said.
For the past 3 years, Bella has been unable to express her feelings because of depression. When her mother or doctor asked her how she was feeling, Bella would send them a picture because she didn’t know how to explain herself.
The 26-year-old supermodel not only posts beautiful photos on social networks but also photos expressing personal emotions. She wants to connect with people to repel the feeling of loneliness. “A lot of people have contacted me and said ‘I feel the same way’. I realized there are many people out there facing the same difficulties as me. I need to be strong to overcome them. Thinking that I’m not alone makes me feel better,” she said.
