Serena Williams Took a Hilarious Jab at LeBron JamesSerena Williams and LeBron James ( Image Source: X/TheTennisLetter )

Following Tennis star Serena Williams’ incredible performance at the ESPY Awards, fans may wish to browse social media in search of fresh prospects. The tennis legend delivered her trademark wit as she roasted the James family. While wishing LeBron James’s son Bronny the best of luck, she graciously poked fun at the Lakers star by mentioning his hairline at the ceremony.

Serena Williams displayed her comedy skills away from the court by delivering snappy jabs at the ESPYs. Some of the most memorable things she did were making fun of the beef between Kendrick Lamar and Drake and then attacking LeBron James’s hairline, which got all the attention. Her witty remarks weren’t just directed at the Lakers’ power forward but also extended to the rising star Bronny James.

In her opening monologue, she wished “best of luck” to the young star, and then playfully added, “I truly hope Bronny has a long career. So long that he will see his hairline recede. Then miraculously un-recede… like dad”

These days, players don’t often make fun of each other like this. It was great to watch that both LeBron and Bronny didn’t take Serena’s jokes personally. Just like Serena, everyone at the show was also rooting for the rising star’s success at the end of the speech.

LeBron James Decides to Retire from Olympics After Paris

LeBron James isn’t setting a definitive end date for his basketball career, but you won’t see the iconic player in a Team USA jersey when the Olympics hit Los Angeles in 2028. He recently talked about his upcoming participation in the Paris Olympics in a chat with Craig Melvin on NBC’s “Today.” When asked about the 2028 Olympic Games, James responded with a hint of humor, yet it underscores that his basketball journey has a timeline.

LeBron said, “No, I won’t be there. I’m getting the hell out of that city when the Olympics come to Los Angeles. Alright, I’ll live there all year. I will not be in Los Angeles in 2028. I’m getting out of there.”

With this statement, James has now joined Stephen Curry in publicly stating his intention to not compete in the 2028 Summer Olympics. Since the Paris Olympics will be these legendary athletes’ last competition together, they aim to win gold to cap off their magnificent careers.
