Nine-time NBA All-Star Paul George, also known as PG-13, has been rumored to be considering joining several teams, including the Golden State Warriors, after becoming a free agent this offseason. The 34-year-old forward received offers from several outstanding teams in the league. Despite the speculation, the six-time All-NBA Team player ultimately chose to accept an offer from the Philadelphia 76ers. Philadelphia formally signed George to a four-year contract worth a maximum of $212 million.
However, after signing the multimillion-dollar contract, George has become more active in his personal life. George and his wife, Daniela Rajic, and Karl-Anthony Towns, with his girlfriend, Jordyn Woods, were recently spotted at Lil Wayne’s concert.
Photos of the couples quickly went viral on social media after being uploaded by Towns’ girlfriend on her Instagram account. She also expressed her excitement about the evening in the caption of the post.
“A little less than 48 hours in Vegas, you know it’s a good time when you barely get photos,” Towns’ girlfriend Jordyn Woods wrote in her latest Instagram post.
Paul George Shares How LeBron James Inspired Him During Slump
From 2019 to 2024, George played for the Los Angeles Clippers and delivered numerous outstanding performances. In the 2023–24 season, he averaged 22.6 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 3.5 assists in 74 games, according to StatMuse. He was also selected to participate in his ninth All-Star game.
During a recent episode of Podcast P with Paul George, host George opened up about how LeBron James inspired him during his slump.
“I remember, like, so if I’m going through a slump, and I heard Bron say this, which is funny because I did it, and I thought I was the only one that did it. But hearing Bron put a stamp on it was like. ‘Oh ok that’s normal sh*t, people do that’. But when I’m going through a slump, I just watch my old highlights like I watch all my highlights.” George said on Podcast p latest episode.
George’s addition could greatly benefit the 76ers, as he has the potential to elevate the performance of other players in the upcoming season. Recently, 76ers star Joel Embiid praised the 34-year-old forward and mentioned that George joining forces with the Sixers will boost their title hopes this season.
