The expert doesn’t see tensions relaxing between Harry and his father anytime soon
HARRY and Meghan are desperate to remain in the spotlight and insulting royals is a waste of their time, an expert has claimed.
Royal biographer Hugo Vickers says the latest ceasefire is a “very good strategy” as the couple’s tirade against their family is becoming “unpopular”.

Harry and Meghan have not given any more tell-all interviews like the ones which followed “Megxit” in 2020.
This could be because their views have “lost mileage”, said Hugo.
Stepping away from old habits might also allow the couple to focus on more “positive” things.
He told The Sun: “They’ve realized that it wasn’t getting anywhere, because it was causing so much trouble.”
The expert also claimed that for Harry and Meghan money will be at the forefront of their minds.
Remaining in the limelight and adjusting their behaviour accordingly is therefore important to the couple.
He said: “In order to earn a lot of money, they have to sometimes be controversial if you like.
“Or things which will keep themselves in the public eye.”
When asked about the King’s relationship with his son, Hugo said he thought it was salvageable but would require compromise.
“He’s [Harry] the one who needs to pull himself together and extend the olive branch because he is the one making it difficult between them,” he said.

But he added healing old wounds probably wasn’t at the top of the monarch’s list of priorities.
And a reunion between the feuding father and son is unlikely in the near future.
He believes this is because Harry attracts too much publicity – which deflects attention from the King.
He said: “The most successful members of the royal family are the ones who support the King in what he’s doing, and they don’t compete with him.”
This comes as it was reported the couple are tipped to have new shows on Netflix next year – which could mean more publicity interviews.
Harry has just released a behind-the-scenes documentary about the world of polo.
Meghan is expected to release a show tied in with her new lifestyle brand American Riviera Orchard.
