Bad Bunny always knows how to turn heads, and the megastar’s appearance on the Met Gala red carpet was no exception.
For fashion’s biggest night the world’s most streamed artist opted for a monochrome moment wearing an all white tweed suit (with a daring cutout back) from Jacquemus and matching platform leather derby shoes for the evening. Instead of sporting his usual cornrows or natural curls, the superstar instead slicked back his hair and accessorized with pearl stud earrings, a silver chain necklace, and a flowing, 26-foot-long rosette cape. The sleek look is a far cry from his look from his Met Gala debut last year where he wore a custom Burberry boilersuit, gold floral hair clips and his hair in a voluminous bouffant. The superstar also has a history with Jacquemus, having starred in their spring campaign last year.

The superstar has been on a major style streak as of late. He work a custom patchwork puffer and matching denim for his history-making headlining performance at Coachella last month as well as a sleek leather bomber look for a New York date night with his rumored girlfriend, supermodel Kendall Jenner. While his style has evolved over the years during his meteoric rise as a global music force, his approach to fashion has remained authentic since adolescence.
“Obviously, as you get older, you start seeing what the world shows you and if I lived my life that way, then I wouldn’t be able to dress in the way that I really want to,” Bad Bunny previously told BAZAAR for last year’s September Icons issue. “To a point, the fame and where I am gives me the confidence to do all of these things.”
