WATCH: LeBron James’ Agent Rich Paul Embraces Stephen Curry

Following a clinical win against the Philadelphia 76ers, Stephen Curry linked up with Rich Paul, LeBron James’ childhood friend. The Warriors stepped on the court after two heartbreaking losses against the Sacramento Kings and the LA Lakers. And, finally, Steph found the solace for his hot streak with a comfortable 119-107 win.

Right after winning the game, Steph walked up to Rich Paul. The two embraced and had a long chat. This link-up came two months after Paul cleared the air after he unintentionally took a jab at the Golden State Warriors superstar.

During the 2023 off-season, Rich Paul was featured in Gil’s Arena podcast and tried to defend LeBron James‘ ‘Bubble Championship’. While many discredited Akron Hammer’s 2020 championship run, Paul said, “If Steph wins in the Bubble, do they discredit it? No, they don’t”

However, it didn’t sit well with the fans across the NBA world who called out the multi-millionaire for taking a dig at Steph. A month later, Paul cleared the air by dropping a clarification. He said, “I wasn’t trying to slight Steph, that wasn’t my thing. I had nobody else to compare to.” This was enough to settle things among the fans.

Similarly, the fans expected the superstars to carry their Cavs-Dubs rivalry even today, and the duo exceeded the expectations in their recent match-up. The Lakers and Warriors went toe to toe in a double overtime thriller at Chase Center. It was an exhibition of greatness and Bron had the last laugh. However, following the game, the duo had a wholesome moment and hugged it out in front of the rousing crowd.

Moreover, King James even credited Steph for pushing him to play better each time.

Let’s take a closer look at what Bron said about Steph.

James credits Steph after the double overtime thriller

Stephen Curry churned in 46 points season-high score on a losing cause against James & Co. On the other hand, James scored 36 points with a career-high 20 rebounds. Following the 144-145 victory, James said, “Steph after the game came to me and said, ‘How does it keep getting better.. how do we keep getting better?’ I think it’s a true testament to us, putting the work in… being true to the game.”

Moreover, he also said, “Steph keeps me young.” The superstars have two more games left in the regular season and fans can expect a similar thriller on both occasions.
