WATCH: Carlos Alcaraz Engraves Two Special Dates of His Grand Slam Glory on His Body

Every tennis player dreams of winning a grand slam one day. Winning their first few slams is one of the most special moments for a player, and they never forget it. Carlos Alcaraz won his first slam in 2022 and then won his second slam in 2023. The two moments live large in the mind of the Spaniard. He went a step ahead and immortalized his two wins with a special gesture.

While Alcaraz has a tattoo to remind himself of his grand slam titles, another tennis star was powered onto her grand slam titles by her tattoo. It embodies her fighting spirit, while Alcaraz’s tattoo reminds him of a great time.

Carlos Alcaraz has two tattoos for special achievements

Anyone would want to immortalize the two memories, and Alcaraz did so in great fashion. For the 2022 US Open, he etched the date on his arm. For his 2023 Wimbledon win, he had the date and a strawberry drawn on his leg. Bastien Fachen shared a picture of his tattoos on his ‘X’ page with the caption, “So Carlos Alcaraz now has two tattoos: On his arm, 11/09/22 for his US Open title🗽On his leg, 16/07/23 for his Wimbledon title🍓”.

The young Spanish man first set fire to the world in 2022, jumping from rank 32 to rank 1 by the end of the year. He managed such a feat by winning the US Open. He continued his great form in 2023 as he won two Masters, played till the semifinal of two slams, and managed to beat Novak Djokovic in the final of a Wimbledon.

Alcaraz’s tattoos will help him remember his two greatest titles so far. On the other hand, the tattoo Aryna Sabalenka has helped her win her two-slam titles.

Aryna Sabalenka’s tattoo embodies her spirit

Aryna Sabalenka’s nickname, ‘The Tiger, ‘ is proving to be correct as she beats everyone in her sight to win her second slam title. The Belarusian player has the nickname because of the tattoo of Tiger that rests on her left arm.

Sabalenka was born in 1998, the Year of the Tiger. Therefore, getting a tiger tattoo was a no-brainer. When she presented it to her father, he laughed at her.

Furthermore, her mother was furious and did not speak to her for a week. While she did not like her choice at first, she now looks back fondly on it. The tattoo keeps her ferocious and quick on the court and has taken her to two grand slams.

Their tattoos show different aspects of their careers but have a common factor in personifying glory.
