It has long been settled that the greatest shooter to ever play in the NBA is no other than Golden State Warriors marksman Stephen Curry.

Even at age 35, Curry is still an incredibly dangerous shooter and he’s not showing much sign of regression on that end. In fact, he leads the league in 3-pointers so far in the 2023-24 NBA regular season. He added to his lead Tuesday night when he shot the lights out again at home during a Warriors 119-107 victory over Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers. Curry now has 195 3-pointers on the season. He is in his own stratosphere when it comes to that stat because the next man with the most threes thus far is Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic, who only has 155.

Against the 76ers, Curry swished in a total of eight 3-pointers on 13 attempts from behind the arc. He finished with a game-high 37 points with eight rebounds and seven assists in 35 minutes. Overall, he shot 12-for-17 from the field and made all his five attempts from the free-throw line. It was just another game for Curry, who’s made Warriors and NBA fans so used to such scoring explosions.

Curry is turning 36 in March, but Father Time isn’t doing much to slow the two-time league Most Valuable Player down.

Curry and the Warriors, who improved their record to 20-24, can build on that momentum from the win over the 76ers, as they look to kick off a five-game road trip on Friday versus the Memphis Grizzlies.
