Ja Morant is hardly the most disciplined guy in the NBA. His recent suspensions suggest that much. But the Memphis Grizzlies point guard is being lauded for his admirable “eye discipline” following footage of a recent interview with a smoking hot reporter.
Photos from an on-court chat with Kelcey Wright Johnson have gone viral on X, with one fan pointing out how Ja managed to stay focused while speaking to Johnson, who would certainly understand it if any man were to stare.

The interview is from after the Grizzlies’ victory over the San Antonio Spurs last Tuesday. Morant scored 26 points on the night, adding 5 rebounds, 10 assists, and one steal. You can check it out in full right below:
As for Johnson, she hails from Toronto and was the varsity basketball team captain at Ryerson University, from where she graduated with a Bachelor of Journalism in 2013. The Grizzlies hired her in 2019.
