Some of the younger players on the Golden State Warriors roster are believed to be fed up with head coach Steve Kerr.

The Dubs blew an 18-point lead to lose to the Denver Nuggets on Thursday night, setting a poor mood. And Kerr’s inexplicable third-quarter benching of Jonathan Kuminga, who had scored 16 points on 5-of-7 shooting, was one of the biggest talking points.

The Athletic’s Shams Charania and Anthony Slater have since reported that the player has “lost faith” in Kerr.

“Jonathan Kuminga has lost faith in coach Steve Kerr, and the 2021 lottery pick no longer believes Kerr will allow him to reach his full potential, sources close to Kuminga tell The Athletic, adding another layer of turbulence to an already complex Warriors season,” Charania wrote.

According to Jason Dumas, Moses Moody has also become disenchanted with the head coach.

“The people around Moses are frustrated with the lack of a role and consistency…For the lack of a better term, it feels like he’s the ‘sacrificial lamb.’ Whenever there’s a logjam, he’s the guy that falls out,” Dumas revealed on 95.7 The Game’s ‘Willard & Dibs’.

The Warriors are 10th in the Western Conference with a 17-18 record, with Kerr now thought to be on the hot seat as he’s been getting most of the blame for the team’s struggles season.
