While LBJ did suit up for the game, he called it a night after halftime and jumped into his street clothes, having scored 12 points in 18 minutes. He went through the rest of the game as a fan would as he grabbed some fruit and sat at the end of the bench to enjoy it while watching on.
With their best player on the bench, the Lakers lost 129-125. Dubs forward Jonathan Kuminga finished with a game-high 26 points.
One fan noticed that the right-handed LeBron James ate rather comfortably with his left hand and suggested that the four-time MVP’s been left-handed all along.
LeBron is an excellent finisher with both hands and can attack both sides of the floor, so picking out some fruit from a container shouldn’t be all that hard to do. As for him being left-handed, it’s very doubtful.
Meanwhile, the Lakers will play their final preseason game this Thursday, against the Phoenix Suns, before kicking the regular season off with a game against the Denver Nuggets next Tuesday.
