Novak Djokovic’s former agent, Edoardo Artaldi, has already found a new job and will be representing Lorenzo Musetti. The young Italian star is currently 26th in the ATP rankings and has shown the potential to challenge at the very highest level in the coming years.

Musetti broke onto the scene in 2020 when making his ATP Tour debut at the Dubai Tennis Championship, aged 17, where he lost in the first round of the competition to Andrey Rublev. The 21-year-old has gone from strength to strength since, winning his first two ATP titles in 2022 and breaking into the top 20 last year.

Musetti has shown plenty of promise over the past few seasons and steps are now being made to ensure that he meets his potential, which includes enlisting fellow Italian Artaldi as his agent going forward.

According to the Telegraf in Serbia, the 59-year-old will be representing Musetti going forward following his split from Djokovic last year. Arnaldi had an incredibly successful partnership with the world No. 1.

Djokovic began working with Artaldi, along with his wife Elena Cappellaro, following his victory in the Australian Open in 2008, the first Grand Slam title of his career. The Serbian star went on to dominate under the watchful eye of his agent, becoming the most decorated men’s tennis player in history with 24 Grand Slams.

After 13 years together, it was announced last year that they would be parting ways, with Djokovic making several changes to his team upon entering the twilight years of his career. He wrote on Instagram: “Dear Elena and Edoardo, it’s difficult to describe everything we have been through together for 13 years of collaboration in one message…
