11 Months After Serena Williams’ Surprise for Daughter, Dwayne Johnson’s Impromptu Moana Act ‘Broke’ Her Into Giggles

Dwayne Johnson made his Disney debut with the movie Moana. Along with the movie, his character became iconic, and Johnson made Serena Williams a big fan of his with the performance he put in in the movie. The Rock made a special announcement recently with a performance on the Tonight Show, which ended up with her singing and dancing as well.

The Queen of the Court is not the only one in the family who is a fan of the movie. Her daughter, Olympia, and her husband, Alexis Ohanian, also love the movie. The husband and wife duo even gave a Moana surprise to their daughter.

When Moana hit the theatres, the crowd went in huge numbers to watch the Disney movie, which ended up making it a huge success. People from all walks of life witnessed the movie, including Serena Williams and her family. The trio loved the movie, and their love for it has stayed alive as Johnson, who played Maui, revealed a live-action remake in the works.

He revealed the news of the live-action remake on ‘The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon’, and then transitioned into his character’s iconic song, ‘You’re Welcome’. Watching the segment got Williams quite excited for the remake, and she couldn’t help but break out in song too. She shared the video of the announcement on her Instagram story, where she wrote, “Love this watch until the end. I broke out and started singing too.”

This is not the first time Williams has shown her love for the movie and its characters. Her daughter is a big fan of the movie as well and received a surprise from her parents on a random winter day.

Williams and Ohanian make the end of the year special for daughter

The parents of Olympia work hard not just in their careers but for their daughter as well. They aim to make each day special for her and, now, for her sister Adira. But before Adira came into the fray, Ohanian and Williams had planned a special day for Olympia. They threw a surprise party for her, which saw an appearance from the main character, Moana herself.

Williams shared several snaps from the day on her social media. She shared a picture on her Instagram page that showed a group of four posing under a balloon arch. It became a day to remember for Olympia, only increasing her love for the movie. Now, with the live-action remake in the makes, she will be first in line to watch the movie.
