Brittany Mahomes was never in any doubt that the Chiefs would pull through on Sunday night.
After watching husband Patrick throw the game-winning touchdown pass to Mecole Hardman Jnr, Brittany could be heard letting Taylor Swift know exactly that as Kansas City celebrated their 25-22 victory over the San Francisco 49ers.
According to CBS NFL insider Jonathan Jones, Mahomes shouted down to Swift from the podium after the trophy lift: ‘I told you!’
Swift, who was at Allegiant Stadium to cheer on boyfriend Travis Kelce, was stood on the field alongside his mom Donna as the Chiefs toasted their historic success.
She could then be seen sharing a hug and a kiss with Kelce as he left the podium, before the celebrations continued later that night at a Las Vegas nightclub.

The Chiefs became the first team to retain the Super Bowl since the New England Patriots in 2005 on Sunday, yet only after snatching victory over the Niners in the final three seconds of overtime.
After winning the coin toss and choosing to take the ball first, San Francisco knew they would prevail by preventing Kansas City from scoring on their own drive.
However, right at the death Mahomes found Hardman Jnr for the touchdown pass which crowned the Chiefs champions once again.
Kelce and his team headed out to The Strip to party through the night after clinching back-to-back Super Bowls and Swift joined them along with rapper Ice Spice, Blake Lively and Ludacris.
And the Chiefs honored the 14-time Grammy Award winner as the DJ used some of her earliest hits to round off the evening at XS Nightclub at Wynn Las Vegas.
One of Swift’s famous songs from the Fearless album, provided a romantic soundtrack for her and Kelce’s celebratory smooch.
The couple were seen sharing a kiss at the victory party while her hit ‘Love Story’ played in the background.

Before their celebratory smooch, Swift and Kelce were captured jumping up and down as they sung the lyric, ‘You’ll be the prince and I’ll be the princess,’ to one another.
The lovebirds had arrived at the Las Vegas nightclub with Swift wearing her tight end boyfriend’s black sparkly jacket over her shoulders.
It was a fitting ending to Chiefs Kingdom’s fairytale season, given Swift and Kelce’s love story has dominated headlines and games.
