While this was of course an exciting moment for Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift, Kelce and his coach Andy Reid seemed to get into an argument on the field. There are several intense photos of Kelce yelling and even shoving Reid.
According to The Associated Press, Kelce doesn’t want to share what he was talking about publicly. He said, “You guys saw that? I’m going to keep it between us unless my mic’d up tells the world.” He added, “I was just telling him how much I loved him.”
The day after the 2024 Super Bowl, according to ESPN, Reid said, “He was really coming over [and saying], ‘Just put me in, I’ll score. I’ll score.’ So, that’s really what it was. I love that. It’s not the first time. I appreciate him.”
Excitement over Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s relationship continues to be fueled by engagement and pregnancy speculation.
While Kelce and Reid seem to have a good relationship and Reid didn’t say that he was upset about the incident, Taylor Swift’s fans see things differently. According to the Irish Star, several of her fans are unsure about Swift continuing to date Kelce after the way that he acted. As the publication reported, a fan posted on X:
“The deplorable, abusive behavior/anger Travis Kelce inflected on Andy Reid a much older man who doesn’t stand a chance of physically defending himself against Travis Kelce is a major red flag. Taylor Swift better run not walk to the nearest exit.”
