Both singers have a huge fan following and supporters who love them from the bottom of their hearts. Recently, Rollin Stone Magazine named Lana Del Rey & Taylor Swift as the best songwriters of all time. While Del Rey is famous for the aesthetic elements in her songs, Swift is famous for the soulful lyrics. Even both singers have worked together and they also admire each other. ‘Snow On The Beach’ brought these two completely different artists together. Now, as Rolling Stone Magazine named these two as the best of all time, fans have a mixed review.

While one is English, the other is American. One has a dark side to portray, the other has a fairy tale to offer. But both artists are extremely excellent in their own way. However, as soon as this announcement came out, the internet broke down and fans started to discuss the title.

Not only the ‘Summertime Sadness’ singer, nor is the ‘You Belong With Me’ singer the only choice among the majority of fans. They argue these two can be the best of this generation. But best of all time are songwriters like Bob Dylan, Ed Sheeran, Joni Mitchell, and others. Even by posting the lyrics of their favorites, fans questioned if these two writers could work their magic. Therefore, someone also pointed out to choose the best was a subjective matter.

i would change the “of all time” for “of our generations” or “of ourtime”. i feel like its hard to compare songwritters and just artists overall from different time periods. people like david bowie, bob dylan and joni mitchell are also insanely talented songwriters

That’s very subjective. They’re both fantastic writers, but it depends on what you like and whether or not what they write impacts you. Someone might say Bruce Springsteen. Or Lennon/McCartney. Or Roger Waters. Or Jagger/Richards. Or Page/Plant. The list goes on and on…

They should mean 'of our time' rather than 'all time' if they're comparing both Male and female artists cause John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Bob Dylan and co imo are the Greatest Songwriters of all Time.

The star created a TikTok video with Stanger Things standout, Millie Bobby Brown, and sent the internet into a frenzy.
