The 37-year-old singer back in June 2014, was accused of affecting her performance by smoking and chewing gum in front of her audience on-stage. During her Paradise Tour in Sweden, she performed at Bråvalla Festival 2014 in Norrköping.
She was spotted puffing away on a cigarette while performing her song Summertime Sadness from her second studio album, Born to Die (2012).

The singer was slammed by fans for not giving her best in the 2014 Bråvalla Festival performance and was rather spotted chewing gum and smoking in front of the audience waiting for her anticipated vocals.

This is not the first time she tried something in her concerts. Back in 2012, she was spotted with a lit cigarette as she performed at the Eurockéennes Festival, which is one of France’s biggest music events.
She received backlash for that event as well. Although the 2014 performance did receive criticism, her Paradise Tour lasted over eighteen months and visited four continents. That was her second concert tour in support of her third extended play, Paradise.
She has recently collaborated with Taylor Swift in the latter’s new album, Midnights with the track, Snow on the Beach.
