Olivia Dunne did not compete for LSU gymnastics for a second straight meet on Friday night, as the Tigers traveled to face fellow top-10 team Missouri.
Dunne was on the floor cheering on her teammates, but did not go second in the floor exercise, which she had done in LSU’s first two meets of the season.
No. 9 Missouri got the upset victory over No. 3 LSU at home, in front of a jam-packed Hearnes Center 197.325-197.225, with Mizzou overtaking the traveling Tigers on the final routine of the evening.
Dunne has shown off videos in recent weeks training on the uneven bars and on balance beam.
Dunne has never competed on the vault or balance beam in an official capacity in her LSU career. Therefore, she’s never been eligible for the all-around.
