Kamilla Cardoso, the 6-foot-7 senior center from Brazil, played a significant role in the win, engaging in a defensive battle with LSU‘s Angel Reese throughout the game.

While Cardoso‘s stat sheet might not have been overflowing, her defensive prowess was evident, highlighted by a critical block on Reese‘s drop-step in the post during the third quarter.

Reese, despite limiting Cardoso to 11 points, fouled out in the final minutes, impacting LSU’s chances in the closely contested game.

Cardoso’s monster block
