Stephen Curry is one of the greatest shooters in the NBA currently. His younger sister, Sydell Curry, is a volleyball player and is married to a basketball star, Damion Lee, who plays for the Phoenix Suns. She has also followed in her brother’s footsteps and become an athlete however; she chose a different sport. Sydell is a volleyball player and has even been her team MVP in 2016, but unfortunately, her career ended due to multiple injuries. So, she finished her education and got a degree in psychology and promotes mental health awareness.
However, recently she was seen reacting to the famous comedian Katt Willams’ appearance on the Club Shay Shay podcast. She shared a clip of him laughing on her Instagram, the influencer wrote “If I say Kekekeke, this is what I am referring to”, to her 698k followers.
The clip is from the recent episode where Williams made a guest appearance. There, he ignited a firestorm of controversy with his outrageous claims leveled at three of his contemporaries. Williams blamed Cedric the Entertainer, Steve Harvey, and Rickey Smiley for anything from joke stealing to purported plots against him.
While blaming them, he started laughing and said, “Kekeke. That’s why I am funny, because I am a happy person. I laugh all day long. I can’t even imagine the misery of these bums”. This is what led to Sydell sharing the clip and writing “Kekekeke”.
Not only that, she is an advocate for mental health awareness and has a blog called “A Curry Girl,” which talks about her struggles with mental health. She even launched a podcast called “Because Life” where she advises people on how can they make their mental health better. Not only her, but even Stephen Curry has spoken about mental health on a public platform in the past.

With his father, Dell Curry, having been an NBA player until 2002, Curry knows the particular expectations and obstacles that come with playing in the league from a young age.
