NBA Stephen Curry and Michael Jordan Share an Uncanny Resemblance, Claims ‘Lucky’ NBA Legend at Bulls Ring of Honor Gala

Steve Kerr is in town for the Chicago Bulls‘ ‘Ring of Honor Gala celebration, and he has already hit the news for making a huge comparison. The 58-year-old head coach shared some high appreciation for his former teammate Michael Jordan, but also put Stephen Curry on the same page as the 6-time champion on one common ground. Well, this is not the first time Kerr is comparing the two, but it was unexpected on this occasion.

The Golden State Warriors head coach shared, “You have to have not just a star player but superstar person, player, human being. Michael Jordan was obviously, you know the guy for the Bulls, Steph Curry for the Warriors, you have to be lucky enough to have someone like those, to kind of you know be the front man and the best player and the leader and all of that.”

Kerr also shared that he was “lucky” to have shared the platform with both of the above legends. It looks like Kerr is not willing to put his man Curry out of the picture whatsoever.

Stephen Curry’s game 7 historic helped Steve Kerr reminisce Michael Jordan

Steve Kerr has compare Curry with Jordan in several occasions. The last time was during the 2023 playoffs. The Golden State Warriors faced the Sacramento Kings in the first round, which went to a do-or-die game 7. Curry, as always, made full use of the court to drop a 50 point performance, taking his team to the conference semi-finals. Kerr shared, “You just have to remind yourself every once in a while, big picture, this[Curry] is one of the greatest players in the history of the game…That’s how I felt back in my playing days with Michael Jordan.

Later in November 2023, Kerr also compared the work ethic of the two, which he found to be common. He shared, “Michael, like Steph, put every single ounce of energy into getting better every single year, constantly searching for ways to get better.” The head coach believes both Jordan and Curry have a competitive desire which he has not seen in anyone else. Media has shown how competitive Jordan was. But according to Kerr, many do not know that about Curry.
