Taylor Swift shared a heartfelt moment with Travis Kelce’s mum, Donna, after Kansas City Chiefs’ victory in the AFC Championship Game.

Swift, 34, went to the game with Brittany Mahomes, wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick, and friends Cara Delevigne and Keleigh Teller. Kelce’s family, including his brother Jason, dad Ed and mum Donna, were also present to witness the team’s 17-10 win over Baltimore Ravens.

Kansas City are now Super Bowl bound again for the fourth time in five seasons, winning two of their previous visits, last season against Jason’s Philadelphia Eagles and in 2019 versus San Francisco 49ers. But this was their most difficult postseason campaign, facing road games in the Divisional Round and Conference Championship.

Thus, celebrations soon ensued on the field once victory was assured, with Swift coming down from her suite in the stands to find Travis. Donna, Ed and Jason also made their way down to field level, with the two parents later spending some time with their youngest son’s celebrity girlfriend.

Television footage of the postgame festivities cut to showing Swift arm-in-arm with Ed while in conversation with Kelce Snr as Donna took a moment to herself. Swift, though, soon spotted her boyfriend’s mum wiping away tears from her eyes, such was the emotion of the occasion.

Taylor also spent much of Sunday night celebrating with the Kelce family, including Jason (L)

After checking in with her, the pop star detangled her arms from Ed before approaching his wife and giving her a big hug. “So excited,” Donna reassured Swift. “I can’t believe it! Oh my gosh!”

Swift shared similar disbelief when finally finding Travis after the game. He shouted, “NEVADA!” when he saw her on the field, referencing where this year’s Super Bowl is happening.

They then hugged and kissed before Travis said: “How about that one, huh?” Ed soon came out of the crowd on the field, and his son yelled: “PAPA!” before hugging him too and remarking, “What’s up, big dog?” and “How ’bout it, huh?”

Travis continued: “Las Vegas! Here we go, baby!” before shouting: “Woo!” and turning back to Swift. “What’s up, sweetie?” he asked, prompting her to give him another hug and say, “I have never seen you like that!”

The conversation quickly moved to where Swift and her friends watched from during the game. She pointed towards the other side of the stadium and said, “We were over there, all the way up there,” and then added about the match: “That was insane; I can’t believe it!”

Even though they’re the current Super Bowl champions, the Chiefs weren’t the favourites for Championship Weekend. But now, Kelce, Mahomes, and head coach Andy Reid aim to win their third title against the 49ers in a rematch of the 2019 Super Bowl, which they dramatically won with a historic fourth-quarter comeback.

“We going to Vegas!” Kelce declared after this latest game. “We’re going to get us another one!”

Taylor Swift displayed ‘fan-like pride’ in boyfriend Travis Kelce and signalled her ‘total commitment’ with key gesture – but wanted to ‘avoid upstaging’ the Kansas City Chiefs’ victory, body language expert claims

Taylor Swift displayed ‘fan-like pride’ towards Travis Kelce and signalled her ‘total commitment’ to her boyfriend after the Kansas City Chiefs advanced to the Super Bowl last night, a body language expert has claimed.

The pop sensation, 34, joined her American footballer boyfriend, also 34, on the field at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore after his team beat the Baltimore Ravens 17-10.

The Love Story singer walked onto the pitch with Travis’ parents Donna and Ed Kelce before throwing her arms around the sporting star.

Travis was seen putting a loving arm around Taylor as they walked around the pitch – only breaking away from his girlfriend to greet his brother Jason.

According to body language expert Judi James, Taylor showed a ‘stunning level of maturity and generosity’ in her interactions with Travis, who she has only believed to have been dating for a few months.

Speaking to FEMAIL, Judi said: ‘Taylor Swift’s global A-list status will mean she’s not used to being anything but the centre of attention.

‘When she lays claim on her man her gestures are clingy and affectionate, so that during the moments she has him to herself she signals besotted ownership and fan-like pride.’

At one point, Taylor flung her arms around Travis’ shoulders and gazed lovingly at him. She later went in for a kiss but used a hand to partially cover their faces.

Judi continued: ‘Her rituals include neck-hugging with encircling arms; face-gazing to read his mood and ensure he sees her signals of adoration.’

Highlighting Taylor’s ‘total commitment’ and how she quickly covered their kiss, the expert continued: ‘Coyness and shyness are a common symptom of genuine love, so this aspect of her body language makes her behaviour look more authentic that celebrities who happily and openly stand kissing and cuddling on red carpets.’

As the couple walked around the pitch with their arms around each other, Judi explained: ‘There is some mutual face-gazing which is an important reciprocal gesture from him at a moment of glory and victory.

‘It shows he is as keen to share the moment of elation with her as she was when she ran off stage and threw herself at him after her concert. It implies that however good life gets, in moments of professional glory and ecstasy, it’s their affection for each other that tops it all off.’

However, Judi highlighted how Travis used subtle gestures that he was going to break away from Taylor to greet his brother Jason – which the singer responded to well.

She explained: ‘As Travis’s brother approaches though, the couple use some silent, subtle tie-signs to signal from Kelce an intention to break away, and from Travis an acceptance and endorsement of that fact.

‘He drops his arm to her waist and she lets the tight grip on his vest go, placing a flattened hand on his back.’

While Travis performs an ‘alpha male celebratory ritual’ with his brother, Judi noted how Taylor happily stood in the background and was conscious not to encroach on their moment.

Describing how the singer is ‘lacking insecurity’ in this respect, the expert said: ‘Taylor looks so mature here as she doesn’t hover or try to join in or even re-join her man, she just melts happily backward out of the scene to avoid upstaging the scene or make Travis focus on anything other than this ritual.

‘Taylor doesn’t just back out, she vanishes, waiting calmly and maturely for Travis to come and find her again, which he does out of choice rather than guilt or pressure.

‘It pays off for her, too. He returns to her and when he throws her a close-up, intimate smile of utter affection it would appear to be his own choice rather than something he felt he ought to do to keep her happy.’

What’s more, the expert said Taylor also used ‘signals of ownership’ with Travis – such as snuggling into his armpit and placing her hand flat on his torso.

Judi added: ‘Travis’ reciprocal gestures are strong as he adds a nose kiss and, even in his moment of glory, gives her moments of intimate and undivided attention.

‘She generously shares him with his mother, brother and fans. And this signalling, which should be so important for a sportsman, family man and a man with ambitions to be a star in his own right.’

As Taylor joined Travis on the pitch, the football player was filmed asking: ‘What’s up, sweetie? Where were you guys at?’

Another video showed Swift and Kelce embracing again, and before they kissed he said, ‘How ’bout that one?’

During the game, she was spotted in one of the luxury suites, taking in the game with Brittany Mahomes, the wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

Also in the suite was Keleigh Sperry and Cara Delevingne as they cheered on the Chiefs and Kelce, who caught 11 passes for 116 yards against the Ravens.
