Taylor Swift took to Twitter on Monday to congratulate The Bear’s Ebon Moss-Bachrach on his win at the Critics Choice Awards, as he mentioned her in his acceptance speech.

At Sunday’s award show, which was held at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California, Moss-Bachrach, 46, mentioned the singer-songwriter, 34, as he won in the category for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series.

‘I’ve gotta thank my two special scene partners this year, Olivia Colman and Taylor Swift,’ Moss-Bachrach said in his speech.

Colman, 49, costarred with Moss-Bachrach in an episode of the comedy last year in which Moss-Bachrach’s character Richie went out of his way to obtain Swift concert tickets for his daughter and ex-wife; Colman had a brief cameo as a chef named Terry, who Richie bonded with.

Responding to a tweet from Rolling Stone citing Moss-Bachrach’s acceptance speech, the Grammy-winner tweeted, ‘Congratulations!!’ with a trio of positive emojis celebrating the professional milestone for the actor.

Swift’s fans flooded her replies with positive comments after she wrote to Moss-Bachrach.

One wrote, ‘Omg Taylor where did you come from,’ while another said, ‘TAYLOR WE LOVE YOU.’

Another fan said, ‘when she posts at 12 pm and not 12 am,’ while one fan account chimed in, ‘I LOVE THIS THANK YOU.’

Moss-Bachrach beat out Phil Dunster (Ted Lasso), Harrison Ford (Shrinking), Harvey Guillén (What We Do in the Shadows), James Marsden (Jury Duty) and Henry Winkler (Barry) in the category on Sunday.

Towards the end of his speech, though, the sharp-dressed actor mentioned Swift and Colman before thanking his wife Yelena and their two daughters.

While Swift didn’t actually appear in the show, there was a storyline in its second season about her.

Richie sought to score coveted Swift concert tickets for his daughter and ex-wife, which he ultimately does. In a scene after the concert, Richie belted out Swift’s 2008 hit song Love Story while driving home.

He added in this speech, ‘This is such a privilege to play this part. Really beautiful experience to take this man kind of from a tough place into the light.’

‘It’s not often you get to do that – to play joy. And it’s been a really wonderful, special, special experience for me,’ he added.

The Bear had a banner night Sunday, as Moss-Bachrach’s costars were triumphant, as Jeremy Allen White won Best Actor and Ayo Edebiri won Best Supporting Actress.

The FX series also took home the coveted Best Comedy Series award, beating out Abbott Elementary (ABC), Barry (HBO | Max), The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (Prime Video), Poker Face (Peacock), Reservation Dogs (FX), Shrinking (Apple TV+) and What We Do in the Shadows (FX).

The Bear follows Carmy (White), a young chef who inherits his brother’s Chicago sandwich shop after his brother committed suicide.

It was renewed for a third season back in November, though it’s unclear when production may begin or when it may air.
