“I mean, they show celebrities at games all the time. Don’t act like we don’t show male celebrities at games all the time. I don’t really understand why it’s caused such an uproar.”

The former defensive end continued: “I mean, she’s literally there supporting her significant other, and that’s what you should do as a significant other. The negative comments tend to attract the most attention—which is why retired NFL player J.J. Watt‘s strong message about the Kansas City Chiefs tight end and his pop superstar girlfriend is so refreshing.

Watt, who retired from the NFL after the 2022 season and is currently an NFL analyst for CBS Sports, recently opened up about the massive amount of attention Swift and Kelce’s romance has attracted at Chiefs games this season.
