Travis Kelce has Swifties swooning over him even more now, as if they weren’t already on board with his and Taylor Swift‘s whirlwind romance.
After proving himself as the king of the pop star’s heart, Travis recently proved that his admiration for Taylor goes behind just the singer herself, as he also has the utmost respect for her dad, Scott Swift.
The football player was talking about Taylor’s dad during the newest episode of his and brother Jason Kelce‘s New Heights podcast, where they discussed Scott’s recent appearance at the Chiefs game at Gillette Stadium against the New England Patriots on Sunday, Dec. 17.

As Jason, 36, brought up Scott being in the crowd alongside his daughter for Sunday’s game, he referred to him by his first name—but Travis tried to keep things polite toward the father of his new girlfriend.
“Yeah, Mr. Swift,” Travis, 34, replied to his brother, opting for the more formal address of Taylor’s dad—and his choice of words definitely didn’t go unnoticed by the Grammy winner’s fans.
“I love anytime Jason says Scott, Travis says ‘Mr Swift,’” one fan wrote under a TikTok clip of Wednesday’s episode, calling the Chiefs tight end, “so respectful.”
“‘Mr. Swift.’ Can Trav be anymore respectful,” someone else echoed.
Another fan said it was “lovely” to see Travis being so “respectful” to Taylor’s dad, in addition to clearly showing his pride for the “Anti-Hero” songstress as he later gushed about her appearance at Sunday’s game.
“I’ll say this. They showed Taylor at the game, and I mean, you don’t see an entire home team base go so insane for somebody wearing the opposite team’s colors,” Travis said a few minutes later in the episode. “Just shows you how amazing that girl is.”
