Junior Holiday is a point guard for the NBA’s Milwaukee Bucks. You could use the phrase in any order and it would still fit him. If you want to be safe, you should attack first, but in this case, it would be better to defend first.
With the 2023 NBA All-Star Game and everything, Holiday had a very busy season. He was nice enough to take some time to talk to us about being a Thorne Ambassador and how our vitamins help him do well.
Well-known brand, experienced rival
During just two and a half weeks, while taking Thorne vitamins.
“Just another reason why for me, psychologically, I’ve always taken them,” Holiday says of the results Thorne gave him. They have helped me stay fit and play well on the court, though, and I’ve been taking them for a long time.
As he starts his thirteenth season, Holiday cares more about his health than ever before. He works with Thorne to improve his ability and help him heal so he can keep playing at his best.
Holiday now sees his ability to keep going when things got tough at the game as “a blessing,” especially when he thinks about his other full-time job as a dad.
I have kids. “I like being outside and playing with kids, and living a healthy life is important for both my basketball career and my overall health,” Holiday says.
Mike Guevara, his personal trainer, put him in touch with Thorne. Guevara has worked with NBA, tennis, and NFL players on the court. As of now, Holiday is taking Thorne vitamins every day.
His favorite are Creatine and Basic Nutrients 2/Day, which he takes twice a day. Amino Complex and Whey Protein Isolate are also used by Holiday to make a shake after a game or workout. In addition to his regular routine, Holiday uses the Travel Bundle when he has to play games away from home and the Curcumin Phytosome when his joints hurt.
All of Holiday’s favorite things are in the NSF Certified for Sport collection by Thorne. Professional athletes can rest easy knowing that the products they use have been put through strict tests to make sure they don’t contain any of the more than 200 chemicals that major sports groups have banned. The National Sports Federation (NSF) gives this approval.
NSF International’s Certified for Sport program has been officially recognized and backed by many sports leagues and teams, such as the NBA, NFL, NASCAR, NHL, MLB, PGA, LPGA, UFC, and WTA.
“We want everyone to be healthy in the world.”
Holiday has been spreading information, just like Guevara. Over the years, he has given Thorne good marks and recommended him to other athletes and teams. Lauren Holiday, his wife, has won two gold medals at the Olympics and used to play professional soccer.
“I do try to get her involved in my things,” he jokes. His laughing shows what he’s up to. It’s great to be able to get such clean and healthy things; they are great for your health and well-being. So, why not put them to good use?
Thorne is an important part of the routines of many top athletes and Olympic medalists, which means a lot to Holiday. He says this shows that Thorne supplements are pure and work, which is very important for athletes.
The National Sports Federation (NSF) license, on the other hand, is open to everyone, not just top athletes who test all year long. Holiday says that people in his close family have started taking Thorne, and some of his former teammates who used the supplement are also taking it now that they are retired.
“You only want the best for your body as an athlete and as a person in general,” he says. “They’re important for more people than just athletes.”
When they’re not playing basketball, Jrue and Lauren Holiday care about the health and happiness of the people in their neighborhood. Thanks to Kohler and the Milwaukee Bucks Foundation’s help, three homes in the Milwaukee area for victims of domestic violence and people who are homeless recently got new floors.
The Jrue and Lauren Holiday Fund was set up by him in July 2020 to give communities more power by helping Black-run non-profits and projects. The rest of his NBA pay for the season, which was more than $5 million, would go to the fund.
He worked with Thorne on a line of Black Lives Matter-themed face masks the same year. Thorne was happy to help raise money for the Jrue and Lauren Holiday Fund.
The best health is what we want. Holiday says that everyone should be able to be healthy. Thorne is a name that I will definitely always be interested in.
