The NFL has granted Kristin Juszczyk a license to use the league’s marks in her apparel designs after the custom jacket she made for Taylor Swift went viral.

Juszczyk, the wife of San Francisco 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk, shot to fame after the popstar and pal Brittany Mahomes wore matching jackets she had designed for the Kansas City Chiefs’ wild-card round clash against the Miami Dolphins.

She fashioned the puffer jackets out of Travis Kelce‘s No 87 and Patrick Mahomes‘ No 15 Chiefs jerseys for Taylor and Brittany to wear respectively as they braved the frigid temperatures at Arrowhead Stadium.

The unique puffer jackets took the internet by storm and have now earned Juszczyk a licensing deal with the NFL, according to Sportico.

The deal means Juszczyk can now use the league’s mark in her future apparel designs. The NFL reportedly refused to disclose financial terms.

Juszczyk has regularly sported her own designs to cheer on her husband as well as her fellow 49ers WAGs, including Olivia Culpo, and with their San Francisco beaus set to take on Taylor and Brittany’s Chiefs in the Super Bowl, the genius designer will surely have something up her sleeve for the big game.

With Taylor’s 279 million Instagram followers and the Super Bowl, which will take place on February 11 in Las Vegas, set to draw in a massive TV audience, Juszczyk will have an unprecedented marketing opportunity.

Taylor isn’t the only famous face to have wowed in Juszczyk’s designs with the 29-year-old also creating looks for Simone Biles.

The Olympic legend wore a custom-made green puffer vest, made from husband Jonathan Owens’ Green Bay Packers jersey with his No. 34 on the front.

Meanwhile, Culpo, who is engaged to Christian McCaffrey, wore a strapless, corset-style top with the 49ers’ logo on the front made by her friend, when San Francisco played Biles’ husband and the Packers.

Actor Taylor Lautner, Golden State Warriors star Klay Thompson and her husband’s teammate Deebo Samuel have also donned her stunning designs.

Juszczyk attended the University of Rhode Island from 2012-2014 before transferring to Townson University in Maryland and earning her degree in marketing.

This would soon come in handy as Juszczyk now runs her own business, making custom pieces for some of sports’ biggest names.

According to her website, the New York native found her love for sewing at a young age but did not expect to make a living out of it until later.

‘Everyone always asks if I studied fashion in college and the answer is no!’ Juszczyk writes. ‘Although, my love for sewing was kind of instilled in me at a young age. I spent countless nights crocheting with my grandma while watching Wheel of Fortune.

‘I definitely hung up my needle and thread for a few years,’ she added. ‘More like 20 years.’

During her time at Townson, Kristin met Kyle who was then playing for the local Baltimore Ravens.

In 2017, Kyle signed his first contract to join the San Francisco 49ers and tied the knot with Kristin two years later.

Kristin’s passion for fashion design was rekindled as she was making Halloween costumes for her and Kyle.
