Brittany Mahomes claps back at Chiefs critics after Kansas City defeated the top-seeded Ravens in AFC championship game to advance to the Super Bowl: ‘See y’all in Vegas’
Brittany Mahomes has defended her husband and hit back at critics of the Kansas City Chiefs – after they upset the top-seeded Baltimore Ravens in the AFC championship game on Sunday.
Despite entering the game as underdogs, the defending champions secured a 17-10 win on the road to advance to their second straight Super Bowl.
After proving doubters wrong once again, Brittany backed her husband, quarterback Patrick Mahomes, and his team on social media.
‘We went there. We won. Anyone have anything to say,’ she wrote on Instagram with a smiley face emoji.
‘See yall in Vegas,’ she added with a heart hands icon.

Brittany also expressed how proud she is of Patrick as he continues to lead the Chiefs on an incredible postseason run.
The two-time Super Bowl MVP has been the Chiefs’ driving force through their 11-6 regular season and three playoff wins. Before sinking the AFC favorites in Baltimore, Kansas City defeated the Miami Dolphins in the wildcard round and narrowly escaped the Buffalo Bills in Mahomes’ first playoff game on the road.
Over the postseason, Mahomes completed 70 of 103 passes for 718 yards and four touchdowns.
Additionally, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has been on a tear despite having late regular season struggles. Kelce broke a seven-game scoring drought with two touchdowns in the 27-24 win against Buffalo. He then opened the scoring against Baltimore in a game that saw him break Jerry Rice’s record for most playoff catches with his 152nd.

Kelce and Mahomes’ streak continues after they became the highest-scoring quarterback-receiver duo in playoff history against the Bills. The pair have now connected for 17 postseason touchdowns after overtaking Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski.
Running back Isiah Pacheco has also been incredibly important to the Chiefs, scoring a touchdown in each of the three playoff games.
The Chiefs will look to win their second straight title when they face the San Francisco 49ers in a Super Bowl LIV rematch.
Mahomes and Kansas City will meet Christian McCaffrey and the NFC champions in Las Vegas on February 11 to tussle for the Vince Lombardi Trophy.
