Kansas City tight end Travis Kelce was not the first member of the Chiefs organization to meet girlfriend Taylor Swift. That distinction belongs to head coach Andy Reid.
Reid said last week he met Taylor and Scott Swift when he was the head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles, as Scott is an alumnus of the University of Delaware. The Swift family also hails from the Philadelphia area.
When Kelce found out he was not the first ‘Enchanted’ member of the Chiefs to meet Swift, Reid joked that his star man felt upset.
‘So that was the last thing Trav wanted to hear, that I knew her before him,’ Reid said on the ‘Let’s Go!’ podcast with Tom Brady as one of the hosts. ‘She told him “I know your coach.” And he went “Oh, God, come on!”
‘She’s a good girl. And I’m happy for Trav. And there has been no distraction that way at all,’ Reid added. ‘Trav’s handled it right, she’s handled it right and we just move forward. So it hasn’t been a problem at all.’

Reid is happy for Kelce in his relationship with Swift even though he met the ‘Mean’ singer first
The Reid-led Chiefs defeated the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship game on Sunday, to clinch a spot in Super Bowl LVIII against the 49ers. Kelce scored the game’s opening touchdown.
After the game, Kelce and Swift shared several minutes together on the field, including multiple kisses and possibly saying ‘I love you’ to each other.
During the game, Swift was in a luxury suite at M&T Bank Stadium alongside actress Cara Delevingne and other friends.
When she did not have her arms wrapped around Kelce during the postgame celebrations, Swift was seen having fun with his family. Jason, Ed, and Donna Kelce were also at the game.
Swift was also seen pointing at Reid, with the coach returning the favor, during the trophy celebration.

Swift has been to around a dozen Chiefs games since her relationship with Kelce went public
Swift’s presence at Chiefs games has been unmistakable, with CBS’ cameras panning to her more than individual shots of most players on the gridiron.
Her attendance at Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas does not have long shot odds, despite Swift resuming international shows of ‘The Eras Tour’ from February 7-10 in Tokyo.
The 17-hour difference between Japan and Las Vegas could see her comfortably arrive at Allegiant Stadium several hours before kickoff.
And if Swift attends Super Bowl LVIII, as expected, she will get to reunite with both Kelce and Reid together on the biggest sporting stage of them all.
