NBA – Draymond Green returns, the Warriors are really… worried:
“They will…
Absent from competition for a while, Draymond Green is gradually moving towards a return to business. But Golden State will not be out of the woods yet, as their former GM Bob Myers recalled. Californians will still have to face a particularly annoying problem…
Clearly, the defeat at the buzzer last night against Denver did not do the Warriors any good. With now 16 wins for 18 losses, Steve Kerr’s men still remain outside the Top 10 of the Eastern Conference. Not glorious for a team whose main aspiration was the title, but whose regular campaign is especially marked by the prolonged absences of Draymond Green for the moment.
Suspended by the league after hitting Jusuf Nurkic in the face, the four-time champion has been missing for a few weeks now. As we recently learned, however, he is heading towards a comeback… but that does not mean that the Dubs’ problems will then all be resolved. Former GM of the franchise, Bob Myers made a worrying call to order on the sets of ESPN:
Former Warriors GM cashes in on Draymond’s return
There is a void without him, I don’t think they think they can do anything good without him. He is good enough to make any team good on defense. He always made the Warriors a good defensive team. What’s hard when a player or a team goes through these distractions is that it takes a lot of energy to lose a player and then bring him back.
Steve Kerr is still trying to find the right rotations and when Draymond returns, this whole process will start all over again. We all know that Curry relies on Draymond. When he lost, he had to find a way to play with Chris Paul, but that caused a lot of uncertainty for a long time. And when he comes back, they will have to find the right formula again. It’s exhausting.
If Golden State is having so much difficulty this year, it is also because the squad is never complete and the rotations are constantly rearranged accordingly. Bringing back a superstar like Draymond won’t make things easier either. For those who can’t take any more of its cracks, the solution seems simple.
Ain’t no void. Trade him.

There is no void. Trade it.
The next few weeks are going to be crucial for the Warriors, as Draymond Green inches closer to a return. Not only do they have to hope that this one goes well, but fingers crossed that the big man holds his own.
