Out of the many viral moments from the Kansas City Chiefs vs Buffalo Bills’ game, perhaps one of the least acknowledged was when Travis Kelce showed a hearts hand gesture towards angry Bills fans. Every time Bufflo gets visited by rivals, the fans make it clear they will do everything in their power to make their presence known.

That’s exactly what they tried to do with Travis Kelce, who ultimately became their downfall during the game. This moment was considered a provocation by many but Travis wanted to make it clear that all he wanted was to spread the love. However, he also knew that any gesture he made could be considered a provocation. Playoff games in the NFL can get a little rowdy sometimes.

During the ‘New Heights‘ podcast on Wednesday, Jason Kelce asked about that gesture and the hostile environment from the Buffalo Bills fans. Travis said: “Yeah, man, had to spread the love, baby. You always gotta spread that love, baby. Understandably. It’s a football game. The Bills, coming into their house, they want to make it rowdy.

Did it get a little disrespectful? One thousand percent. I’m not going to relay it, but some things were said about the family. Some pretty inappropriate things were said about Pat Mahomes. It was pretty wack. I just wanted to make sure [they] knew it wasn’t mutual. I don’t hate you guys like you hate us. It’s all love, baby.”

Up next, Travis Kelce plays against the Ravens

Knowing how hostile rival fan bases can get, the Kansas City Chiefs will have to make a trip to Maryland to play against the Baltimore Ravens. It will be the AFC Conference Final game right before the Supr Bowl. Whoever wins takes the ticket to the main event. Travis Kelce already knows that the fans will be expecting him with more hostilities.

As the most successful NFL team of the last decade, these Chiefs are hated abd booed everywhere they go. But Travis Kelce wants them all to know that the feeling is not mutual mainly because he usually tends to get the last laugh.
