Travis Kelce Not Yet Ready To Propose to Taylor Swift But Has ‘Unique’ Engagement Plans Already, Says Source

Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are taking things slowly but surely.

The public could not stop talking about Kelce and Swift’s potential engagement ever since the pair became more open about their relationship. Some said the athlete would pop the question in December 2023; others predicted they would hear wedding bells this year.

But neither seemed to be the case.

Amid the engagement buzz, a source close to Kelce clarified that the Kansas City Chiefs tight end does not have plans to bend his knee anytime soon; though he already started his preparation to create the “special engagement ring.”

The insider spoke to the Daily Mail regarding Kelce’s plans, saying he talked to his friends and family to ensure that his ring for the “I Knew You Were Trouble” singer would be “unique.” One of his ideas reportedly involved using some of the diamonds from his Super Bowl rings.

“Travis’ career is a major focus for the next several weeks. He has to get the job done. He wants another Super Bowl ring, but it is safe to say that there is room to think about Taylor,” the source shared. “And when it comes to Taylor, he loves her and sees a future with her and has thought about what a ring for her would be like as well.”

Kelce reportedly thinks of having a lyric or quote engraved on the band, as well, though it remains unknown whether he wants to use a lyric from one of Swift’s songs. He reportedly aims to make it exceptional while avoiding to transform it into something cheesy.

Aside from their undeniable talent in singing, dancing and performing, female K-Pop idols also serve stunning visuals that captivate the eyes of their audiences across the globe.

Although Kelce is already preparing, the source dismissed the speculations that they could be engaged by the summer.

“He isn’t popping the question right now, but he has entertained what that moment would look and feel like,” the insider continued.

Both Kelce and Swift will be busy again starting next month, with the “All Too Well” singer launching the international tour dates of her Eras Tour and the athlete vying to score a slot in the Super Bowl. It remains unknown whether they will celebrate the Valentine’s Day together.
