Taylor Swift Has Officially Made A Decision On Attending Super Bowl LVIII
As if we needed further confirmation, Page Six has reported that Taylor Swift will be in attendance at Super Bowl LVIII when her boyfriend Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Baltimore Ravens on Feb. 11.
Swift has four shows scheduled for Tokyo, Japan from Feb. 7-10 as part of the latest leg of her Eras Tour. However, once the final show is completed, she’ll be on a flight to Las Vegas for the big game.
“It’s a brutal flight, but she’ll get on her plane right after the concert,” a source told Page Six.
As sports business reporter Darren Rovell noted Sunday, the 17-hour time difference between Tokyo and Vegas is a major help for Swift.
NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport had previously detailed Swift’s likely travel plans for the game before the Chiefs’ 17-10 victory over the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship Game.
Swift has already attended 12 Kansas City games this season, including all three postseason contests.
There was no way she was missing the Super Bowl, though anyone hoping to see her perform at halftime is going to be disappointed.
Taylor Swift performs in Japan the night before the Super Bowl. It will end around 10pm Tokyo time (5 am Las Vegas time).
The flight from Tokyo to Vegas takes 12 hours, meaning Swift can arrive at 5pm local on the day before the Super Bowl, 25 hours, 35 mins before kickoff.
