A worker at Highmark Stadium referred to 12-time Grammy winner Taylor Swift as a “sweetie pie” after the singer gave her a $100 tip and a photo while she was in Buffalo.

Swift traveled to Western New York to witness her boyfriend, tight end Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs, play against the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Divisional round of the playoffs. According to ABC7 in Buffalo, Jerris Rainey, a ticket taker for the stadium’s premium boxes, ran across Swift and was given the kind gift and picture.

“She’s a sweetie pie. Very down to Earth,” Rainey told the media outlet.

“I just wanted to just see her, and she stopped and she asked me if I worked at the stadium,” she added.

“And she gave me $100 and then she asked if I wanted to take a picture with her and I said yes,” Rainey added.

The pop sensation has already been seen giving stadium employees tips; this was observed at the Chiefs vs. Patriots game a little over a month ago. Swift was in a lavish box on Sunday along with a few Kelce family members.

It meant meeting Jason Kelce, the center for the Philadelphia Eagles, and his wife Kylie for the first time. Since they began dating, Swift has attended about a dozen of Kelce’s games, including this weekend’s AFC Championship game in Baltimore versus the Ravens.

Although Swift’s plans to visit Maryland are unclear, it is anticipated that she will be present. Kelce will play in his fourth Super Bowl, but his first with Swift on his arm, if the Chiefs defeat the Ravens. Swift’s “The Eras Tour” stops in Japan on February 10 at the Tokyo Dome.

With that, she will have plenty of time to get to Las Vegas for the NFL championship game. With the Chiefs, Kelce has won two Super Bowls, one of which was against Swift’s home team, the Philadelphia Eagles, the previous season.

According to USA Today, with her popularity, Taylor Swift may have contributed to the voter turnout experts’ prediction that a sizable millennial vote will win the 2024 presidential election by registering enough voters in a single day last September to flip close contests in several states.

Following Swift’s Instagram post, Vote.org recorded over 30,000 registrations on National Voter Registration Day, with many of the new voters being teenagers who will be able to cast ballots in the election this autumn. The states with the highest number of new registrations are Florida, Texas, California, New York, and Illinois. Swift’s fan base is generally younger and more liberal than the nation as a whole.

A few U.S. House races in 2022 were decided by fewer than 1,000 votes, including one in Colorado where Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert won by 546 votes. Although the number of new voter registrations is probably insufficient to influence the presidential election,
