Getting married is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that’s why when people are being invited to witness two people enter a new chapter of their lives, guests would attend especially if they’re a part of the entourage. However, a bridesmaid in particular opted to ditch the invitation to attend Taylor Swift’s concert; how would you react if this happened to you?

The story was shared by a bride through the radio show “Fifi, Fev & Nick.” The hosts of the show revealed that there are a lot of weddings being disrupted by the mega pop superstar’s upcoming Australian leg for her “The Eras Tour” as guests turn down invitations just to watch the singer’s concert.

A bridesmaid went on to call the hosts of the show for an on-air conversation as she revealed taht she bought tickets to the concert in December. However, there is a big problem, the day of Swift’s show also falls on the same day as her best friend’s wedding.

The bridesmaid first told the hosts: “She’s been talking about it for the last two weeks, about how Taylor’s ruining her wedding and I’ve been like, ‘Oh no, it’s all good,'”

Later on, the bride-to-be joined the call and expressed her excitement as she’s getting married in a few weeks.

However, the bridesmaid delivered the bad news and revealed that she was able to secure tickets for the concert that she got during the holiday season.

She told the bride that she’s thinking of some ways to still attend both events as she planned to leave the ceremony early then return later on to the reception once the show ends.

“Is this a prank? Are you joking?” the bride replied, to which the bridesmaid said she felt “really bad,” but at the same time, she loved Taylor Swift for so long. (via People Magazine)

“So you want to miss a part of my wedding to go to a Taylor Swift concert?… You know how much this has been annoying me that people have been dropping out to go to her, and you’ve known all along that you’re going to go to her concert?” the bride, who seemed to be disappointed, said.

The bridesmaid later admitted that she sounded like a “bad friend.”

The bride continued to express her disappointment, saying she didn’t understand why the woman bought tickets on the day of her wedding.

She went on to vent out, saying that she was not trying to be mean and angry, but she was just upset and stressed about what happened.

There was still no conclusion that happened on-air as the hosts advised that the two women should talk out about their problems privately.
