Since its launch, thousands of content creators have flocked to a new streaming platform, Lounges.tv, buoyed by the endorsement of entertainment industry icon Simon Cowell.

Thousands of creators across various genres, such as music, comedy, fitness and education, have signed up to the platform and are now streaming their content on the platform, with thousands of hours of on-demand content now available.

It comes as global music mogul Cowell, the man behind hits like ‘Got Talent’ and ‘X Factor’, announced his backing of the platform.

‘I am proud to be involved with and to support Lounges.tv. You never know where the next great talent will emerge from, and I really believe that creating as many opportunities as possible for talent to be discovered and to build their own fan bases is great for everyone,’ says Cowell.

Hannah says using Lounges.tv has helped her tap into a global fanbase

Hannah Woolmer, a violinist and composer, is one of the many creators operating on Lounges.tv. She typically hosts three shows a week, charging between £1.50 and £3 per show.

Hailing from Thurrock, Essex, Hannah has tapped into a global fanbase she might not have reached otherwise. Like every other performer on the platform, she receives 80% of her streaming income within 24 hours of going live – she now credits Lounges.tv as her primary source of income.

This financial stability has enabled her to earn about £10,000 since joining Lounges.tv in January and transitioning to full-time streaming in May.

Hannah also praises Lounges.tv’s ability to provide high-quality streaming experiences, offering creators dedicated streaming spaces with professional cameras, green screens, audio equipment, and on-hand engineers. The platform empowers creators to deliver their best performances and connect with their audience.

Lounges.tv is designed to foster direct interaction between creators, influencers, brands, and their audiences. It goes beyond passive viewing, offering a real-time fan engagement experience during live streams.

Scott Green founded Lounges.tv, the creator-first platform where fans can discover, interact and support the content creators they love

Platform co-founder and CEO Scott Green, 48, from North London, says: ‘It’s exciting to see the numbers of content creators joining our platform rising steadily.

‘It’s no surprise that these individuals are flocking to Lounges.tv. We live in an era where platforms like YouTube and TikTok are inundated with content, and Lounges.tv is providing a faster, more direct way for artists to monetise their work and ensure they receive fair compensation.

‘We are calling on content creators and their loyal fans to come try Lounges.tv for themselves, so they can see how Lounges.tv is revolutionising an industry that all too often creators are finding it impossible to be seen and fairly compensated.’
