Top facial surgeon reveals the one surprising physical flaw in Angelina Jolie’s face – and why it’s something she’ll NEVER be able to change

One of Australia’s top plastic surgeons has pinpointed a surprising ‘flaw’ on Angelina Jolie.

Dr Bryan Mendelson, who is a world-renowned facial surgeon, shared his thoughts on Jolie’s appearance during an interview on the Face by Alex Pike podcast.
‘Women love Angelina Jolie, I don’t quite know why,’ Dr Mendelson said.
‘She does not have good bone structure on the temple. The other thing about her is her face is not symmetrical,’ he continued.
‘And it would be nice to reassure people not to get focused on asymmetry because everyone is asymmetrical.’

Alex, who is a cosmetic nurse, added that patients concerned about asymmetry is ‘one of the most common things’ she hears during consultations.
‘People notice [asymmetry] on themselves but they don’t notice it on other people,’ Dr Mendelson explained.
Despite critiquing Jolie’s visage, Dr Mendelson also complimented one of her most famous features – her perfect pout.

‘She had her father’s lips before fillers were around,’ he gushed, citing it as a reason that her beauty is so revered.
Alex added, ‘She probably helped the fillers industry if anything!’
Dr Mendelson isn’t the first famed surgeon to point out Angelina’s asymmetrical appearance.

In 2021, London-based aesthetic and reconstructive surgeon Dr. Osman Bashir Tahir shared a post about the Hollywood star’s uneven face.
‘It’s not about being symmetrical! Many clients presume that beauty, aesthetics and my face sculpting is associated with symmetry, when in fact it isn’t true at all!’ he captioned a close-up photo of Jolie.
‘Achieving profile harmony is personal, bespoke and isn’t based on symmetry.’
