Drake has been linked to a plethora of high-profile women during his career, including Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez, and Hailey Bieber.
He has also had a son called Adonis with a former porn star called Sophie Brussaux in 2017.
As one of the most well-known musicians in the world, Drake has had his fair share of female adoration and relationships in the spotlight.
His megastar fame makes speculation par for the course, so there are also some less certain links in the mix.
Find out about the high-profile ups and downs in the rapper’s love life by reading on.
Rihanna
Rihanna is likely the first name on anyone’s mind when thinking about Drake’s past romances.
The couple were involved with each other for roughly a decade, ending in 2018, having met in 2005 on the set of her music video for Pon de Replay.
They were first spotted in a romantic setting when they locked lips at a bowling alley in 2009.
The night was referenced a year later inn Drake’s song Fireworks, where he describes a night ‘I’ll never forget.’
A number of on-and-off years later, in 2015 Drake confirmed that the two were a couple when he confessed he had ‘been in love with her since I was 22.’
The next year, their relationship arguably peaked from the outside looking in as they collaborated on the song Work.
However, in May 2018, Rihanna confirmed that the two had split, telling Vogue that they ‘don’t have a friendship now, but we’re not enemies either.’
SZA
Drake revealed that he and SZA had once been together in the lyrics to his 2021 song Mr Right Now.
Those words were: ‘Yeah, said she wanna f*** to some SZA, wait.
‘Cause I used to date SZA back in ’08.’
But the R&B singer corrected the timeline.
‘So It was actually 2009 lol,’ she tweeted, suggesting that Drake was just trying to rhyme with ‘wait.’
Either way, Drake and SZA were involved in and around the early days of his on-off romance with Rihanna.
In 2022, SZA joked in an interview with Audacy that Drake reminded her of Regina George in Mean Girls, but clarified that there were no issues between the two, saying ‘I think really highly of him.’
Tyra Banks
In 2012, Drake and supermodel Tyra Banks enjoyed a trip to Disneyland together.
The rapper told Ellen Degeneres in 2013: ‘I went on a date with her one time, yeah.
‘We went to Disneyland in disguise, actually, which was fun. I don’t know if it was a date. It was a get-together. We’re close as well.’
The two remained good friends, and the former ANTM host appeared in Drake’s Child’s Play music video in 2016.
Jennifer Lopez
Drake and Jennifer Lopez worked on a collaboration in December 2016, and this is where rumors of their romance began.
They even celebrated New Year’s Eve together; the rapper gave the Made in Manhattan star a $100,000 Tiffany necklace.
But just two months later, the relationship had come to an end, with a source at the time saying it had never become too serious.
Hailey Bieber
Drake and Hailey Bieber, then Hailey Baldwin, were seen ‘getting cosy’ at his star-studded Memorial Day party in May 2016.
A few days later, they were spotted out partying together, at Los Angeles’ The Nice Guy.
However, the romance never blossomed, as the model ended up falling for Justin Bieber, who she married in 2018.
Sophie Brussaux
He only publicly admitted to being the Adonis’ father nine months after he was born
Drake was first linked to Sophie Brussaux in January 2017.
When the former porn star announced she was pregnant after their short romance had ended, Drake initially denied it would be his baby.
However, a DNA test confirmed that Adonis is his son, with Drake publicly acknowledging the fact in the lyrics on his album Scorpion, released in June 2018 – nine months after the baby was born.
Before then, Drake was called out by rapper Pusha T, who accused him of hiding his secret son because of the mother’s previous job.
In the 2018 track The Story of Adidon, Pusha T told Drake to ‘forget she’s a porn star’ and embrace his little boy.
The lyrics also said: ‘Adonis is your son. And he deserves more than an Adidas press run, that’s real. Love that baby, respect that girl.’
Kylie Jenner
There was speculation that Kylie Jenner and Drake were romantically involved in 2019 during her break from being with Travis Scott.
The relationship, albeit casual throughout, was confirmed when a source told PEOPLE: ‘He and Kylie have been spending time together recently.
‘They’ve been friends for a long time, and Drake is very close to the family.’
But Kylie and Drake never became a serious item, with the businesswoman now the mother of two children with Travis’ – Stormi and Aire.
Julia Fox
Julia Fox may be better-known for her brief romance with Kanye West, but she also seemingly enjoyed a brief fling with Drake.
Appearing on the Forbidden Fruits podcast in 2022, she said: ‘He’s a great guy and a gentleman, and that was it. Nothing really happened. We were just, like, friends hanging out.
‘I wouldn’t say that we were dating.’
And the following year, on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, she appeared to be caught out by the presenter.
An audience member asked about the actress’ best celebrity date, and Julia obliged but would not reveal who it was with.
Andy sprung in asking if it was Drake, and after a pause, Julia replied: ‘Maybe.’
