TIKTOK megastar – Khaby Lame – has found insane success on his social media accounts since the hilariously silent celebrity started posting videos online in 2020.

Khaby is currently the most followed person on TikTok but recent rumours around him being in a horror car crash have seriously worried fans despite them being completely fake and him being alive and well.

Who is Khaby Lame?

Khaby Lame is a 23-year-old social media superstar who first stumbled upon his incredible fame and fortune by creating funny TikTok videos.

The Senegalese born influencer now lives in Milan, Italy and has gone on to have over 161million followers on the popular video app.

He also currently has six of the top 25 most-liked videos on TikTok.

Khaby – real name Khabane Lame – hopped onto TikTok during the Covid pandemic after losing his job in a factory.

He made the bold decision to start making videos to pass the time and entertain himself and others and almost instantly blew up with the people across the globe.

His content is super unique and engaging as he’s been able to create a very popular figure online with his very familiar signature style, look and poses.

Fans flock to his latest uploads to see him react to other TikTokers content and mocks the video he’s watches by shrugging, miming and anything else incredibly funny.

The young star has also had his fair share of moments in the mainstream spotlight and earned himself an insane amount of money since becoming a big name.

According to his manager he pocketed close to $10million last year and featured on both Fortune’s 40 Under 40 and Forbes’ 30 Under 30 lists.

He made this cash by getting involved in the social media campaign for Juventus F.C.’s transfer announcement of Manuel Locatelli and by judging short TikTok films at Cannes film festival and Italia’s Got Talent.

But he is probably most well known to people outside of his social media accounts for being in multiple Hugo Boss adverts since 2022.

Khaby signed a multi-year partnership with the massive brand and was featured in the #BeYourOwnBoss campaign on TV’s across the world.

Despite his skyrocketing fame Khaby doesn’t speak in any of his videos and remains silent the whole time, keeping his content refreshing and always viewable no matter the situation.

Even though he doesn’t speak the intelligent man is actually fluent in both English and Italian after he moved to Italy when he was just one-years-old.

His TikTok bio says: “If u wanna laugh u r in the right place.”

Khaby has also been engaged to his long-term partner Zaira Nucci after the pair spilled the big news to the public in October 2020.

Why is ‘Khaby Lame dead’ trending?

Khaby Lame is alive and well despite several reports on social media and YouTube claiming the influencer is dead.

Many videos on YouTube have incorrectly said the star was involved in a fatal car accident and even using images of him next to a battered crashed car.

Many of these clips have gathered a lot of attention in the past few days and have managed to get a high amount of views concerning fans over the potential death of one of their favourite people.

Khaby posted a video on his Instagram account since the scary rumours, showing him hanging out with Tottenham F.C. defender Emerson Royal, seemingly killing the rumours and showing fans he is doing okay.

He has also posted a hilarious TikTok where he impersonates models on a catwalk since.

Comments on the recent TikTok had many fans grateful he posted to clear up the confusion and confirm his death rumours as just a hoax.

This isn’t the first time the TikToker has rumoured to have died as tragic hoax’s like this have happened to him since he became famous.
