Her lips were stained red, and she flashed a winning smile for fans.

She kindly signed several autographs before calling it a night.

She was joined by several friends as they watched fellow musician Chappell Roan perform.

The Good 4 U hitmaker was announced as the one who will do the honors after Morissette, 48, was revealed as one of the 2022 inductees on Tuesday, via the organization’s Instagram.

‘I remember hearing Alanis for the first time when I was about 13. I was in the car with my parents when Jagged Little Pill came on,’ Rodrigo said in a statement to the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame.

The songbird continued, ‘I heard “Perfect” [and] I was like, “Oh, my God… You can write songs like that?” I just looked at music and songwriting in a completely different way.’

During the ceremony Canadian musicians Alessia Cara, JP Saxe and Ruby Waters are also set to perform tributes to Morissette.

Other artists who will be inducted alongside Morissette include Bryan Adams, David Foster, Jim Vallance, and Daniel Lavoie.

Big news: Rodrigo’s appearance out came after news broke that the driver’s license singer would induct Alanis Morissette into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame

The ceremony will be held on September 24 at Toronto’s Massey Hall.

Rodrigo and Morissette previously interviewed each other for Rolling Stone’s Musicians on Musicians issue, where they bonded over the fact that they’ve both written famous break-up records (Rodrigo ‘Sour’ and Morissette ‘Jagged Little Pill’).

They also both shared that they no longer read things written about them in the media.

‘Somewhere around 22, I stopped reading everything because it wasn’t really relevant to my personal growth and evolution,’ Morissette said, adding, ‘I had enough people around me who would point out blind spots whether I wanted them to or not.’
