Finneas O’Connell, Billie Eilish’s brother, explains why he thinks his pop singer sister’s stardom is “dangerous.”

Finneas O’Connell is a musician in his own right whose collaborations with his sister,  Billie Eilish, have placed him in the spotlight.

But the 24-year-old performer insists he would never want to have the same level of fame as his teenage sibling – in fact, he calls her celebrity ‘dangerous’.

‘People who don’t listen to her music or like her music at all still want a picture with her just to prove they’ve seen her like sighting Bigfoot in the woods,’ he told Adelaide Now on Friday.

The performer went on to say that he’s happy with his own success, and doesn’t pine for more.

‘I’m not as famous as the most famous people, I’m not as famous as my sister or some of our friends and I think there’s a level of fame that I truly would never want to dip my toes into,’ Finneas added.
